Fourteen days to an answer: how Yei turned reports of rights violations into action
A concern raised in a village used to disappear into silence. Now the Human Rights and Rule of Law Forum in Yei requires state structures to investigate and report back within fourteen days.

From the dialogue circle to state policy: the Women Agenda for Peace
Women's peace forums began as conversations. Through patient coalition-building, their agenda became official Western Equatoria State policy, with permanent seats for women, youth and chiefs in local planning.

A library that kept its doors open: almost three decades of the Yei Community Resource Center
It began in 1998 as one resource centre answering a simple request: information on democracy and good governance. Today the YCRC is the region's only long-standing public and academic library.
Our partnership with CEDED demonstrated the transformative power of a genuinely participatory approach, one that equips communities to become the true architects of their own solutions. I have witnessed women and young people grow into confident leaders, active citizens, and influential voices in governance and peacebuilding. CEDED's unique ability to translate grassroots participation into measurable institutional and social change makes it a trusted leader in advancing inclusive governance and sustainable peace in South Sudan.
